Advinia Healthcare Launches “Be Happie- Chef of the Year” Competition

5 January 2026

The competition will begin with regional heats, bringing together talented chefs from across our homes. Winners from each region will then progress to a grand final, where finalists will compete for the prestigious title of Advinia Chef of the Year.
Our finalists will be celebrated throughout the year, with their winning dishes featured across Advinia Healthcare menus, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy award-winning meals created by our own teams.
At Advinia, our residents are at the heart of everything we do and this competition reflects that commitment. Residents will make up the majority of the judging panels across England and Scotland, ensuring their voices, preferences and experiences are central to the judging process. Supporting our residents, we will also welcome judging representatives from EF Group and Checkmate (Digital HACCP).
Please look out for your Be Happie – Chef of the Year posters arriving in your homes. We are asking for submissions from every home as soon as possible – simply scan the QR code on the poster to enter.
Be Happie-Chef of the Year is about more than competition; it is about recognition, pride and celebrating excellence in food, nutrition and dining experiences across Advinia Healthcare.
