Cloisters Care Home Residents Celebrate National Day of Arts in Care Homes with ‘B Happie and Go Green’ Project
25 September 2025
Today, residents at Cloisters Care Home proudly joined the celebrations for the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) National Day of Arts in Care Homes.
This year’s theme was “Green”, and our residents embraced it wholeheartedly with their eco-inspired project: “B Happie and Go Green!” Drawing on the beauty of nature and the importance of protecting our environment, residents worked together to create a stunning piece of artwork that was both imaginative and sustainable.
The project used foliage gathered from our own garden, alongside recycled paper and old crayons, to produce a colourful and creative display. It was a wonderful opportunity for residents to express themselves artistically, while also reflecting on how small choices can make a big difference in caring for the world around us.
The finished artwork is now proudly on display within the home, serving as a vibrant reminder of the residents’ creativity, teamwork, and passion for the environment.
Cloisters Care Home was delighted to be part of this national celebration of the arts, showcasing how creativity and sustainability can come together to enrich daily life.
