Craigbank Care Home Residents Celebrate National Backwards Day with Fun and Laughter

Residents at Craigbank Care Home embraced the spirit of National Backwards Day with a delightful and amusing celebration. The ladies from all units gathered in our Doncaster Bar to enjoy a special “High Tea” with a fun twist—wearing their hats upside down!

The event was filled with joy as residents sipped tea and enjoyed biscuits from their elegant Fine Bone China tea set. The cheerful atmosphere was further enhanced with classic tunes from Frank Sinatra, sparking a lively sing-along session.

Laughter echoed through the room as everyone admired each other’s unique backwards hat styles, adding to the lighthearted fun of the occasion. The morning was a fantastic success, bringing smiles and warmth to all who participated.

Craigbank Care Home was proud to host such a joyful and engaging event, proving once again that a little creativity and a good sense of humor can turn an ordinary day into something truly special.
