Golfhill Nursing Home Honours Long-Serving Colleague Pat with Heroes of Happieness Award

Golfhill Nursing Home is proud to celebrate Pat, who has been presented with a Heroes of Happieness Award in recognition of her exceptional dedication, kindness, and unwavering commitment to residents and colleagues over the past 20 years.
Pat was nominated by Home Manager Stacey, who wanted to recognise the lasting impact she has made throughout her two decades at Golfhill. Known for her caring nature and willingness to go above and beyond, Pat has become a much-loved member of the home, always ready to support others with warmth, compassion, and a smile.
Most recently, Pat demonstrated her community spirit by raising funds to enhance the home’s gardens, creating an even more beautiful outdoor space for residents to enjoy. She then turned the project into a true family affair by inviting her brother, Gerry, and sister, Ann, to help bring the gardens to life.
Gerry generously delivered a wonderful selection of plants and colourful summer bedding purchased with the funds Pat had raised, while Pat and Ann spent the day planting alongside colleagues, filling the gardens with vibrant colour, laughter, and plenty of teamwork. The event was such a success that Gerry has already offered to return next year to support the gardening project once again.
The Heroes of Happieness Awards celebrate colleagues who make an extraordinary difference through their compassion, positivity, and commitment to enriching the lives of residents.
