Hammerwich Hall Raises a Glass to World Cocktail Day with Tropical Mocktail Party

On Tuesday 13 May 2025, Hammerwich Hall Care Home was bursting with colour, laughter, and flavour as residents, relatives and colleagues came together to celebrate World Cocktail Day with a vibrant Mocktail Extravaganza.

Led by the home’s dedicated Wellbeing Coordinator, Paulina, the dining area was transformed into a tropical paradise, complete with colourful décor, flower garlands, and the lively sounds of reggae and Caribbean music setting the perfect party mood.

Paulina treated everyone to an exciting menu of handcrafted mocktails. Refreshing Mojitos made with fresh lime, lemon, mint and lemonade offered a zesty zing, while fruity Sunrises—a mix of orange juice, raspberry syrup and lemonade—added a sweet splash of colour. The star of the show was the ever-popular Pina Colada, made with creamy coconut milk, pineapple juice and topped with fresh pineapple slices.

Dressed in cheerful, summer-inspired outfits, residents and guests were all smiles as they sipped their drinks and soaked up the sunshine.

Resident Sally shared her joy, saying, “We can’t wait for more occasions like this—especially with the wonderful weather we’re having!”

The celebration was a perfect way to lift spirits and embrace the warmer days ahead. A big thank you to everyone who joined in and made World Cocktail Day at Hammerwich Hall one to remember!
