Haydale Care Home Celebrates Staff Dedication with B Happie Manager Monday

Every month, Haydale Care Home takes time to honor and recognize the incredible staff members who go above and beyond in their roles through our “Golden Ticket” initiative. This special program allows residents, colleagues, families, and visitors to nominate staff members who have made a difference or who deserve a heartfelt thank you for their exceptional dedication.

On one Monday each month, as part of the “B Happie Manager Mondays,” a Golden Ticket and Pin Presentation Ceremony takes place. Staff members who are nominated receive a certificate and a pin, serving as a token of appreciation for their hard work. Their golden tickets are then placed into a prize draw, where three winners are selected each month.

The Golden Ticket initiative has been warmly received by the staff, who feel that it’s a fantastic way to recognize the efforts and commitment of their colleagues. Many wear their pins with pride, knowing they’ve made a significant impact on the care home community.

This week’s Manager Monday event was a heartwarming celebration of dedication. Pictured above is Haydale’s Manager, Fiona Hunger, with Dunlop Unit Nurse Daniel Peden McGowan, who was nominated for going above and beyond by organizing a jamming session with a resident and his daughter, complete with guitars and singing.

The Golden Ticket program is an essential part of Advinia’s B Happie mission, which is dedicated to acknowledging and appreciating the hard work of its employees. The initiative continues to be a testament to Haydale’s commitment to celebrating staff members who make a difference every day.
