Heroes of Happiness Award – Celebrating Susan Unsworth

We are delighted to celebrate Susan Unsworth, Wellbeing Coordinator at Bedford Care Home, who has been awarded a Heroes of Happiness Award by Advinia’s Quality Team.

The Heroes of Happiness Award, part of Advinia’s B Happie framework, recognises colleagues who go above and beyond to create meaningful, positive experiences for residents, families, and teammates. It celebrates those whose compassion, dedication, and everyday actions help build environments where people feel valued, connected, and happy.

During a recent visit, the Quality Team had the pleasure of seeing Susan in action, delivering thoughtful, engaging, and resident-led activities that truly put wellbeing at the heart of daily life. Her passion, creativity, and genuine care were clear to see as she created moments of joy and connection for residents throughout the day.
