Naomi Daglish of Advinia Healthcare was honoured at this year’s National Activity Providers Association (NAPA) Awards for her dedication to residents’ wellbeing across 36 homes.
After starting with the care company as the Wellbeing Co-ordinator at Woodstock Care Home in Gressenhall, Naomi has worked her way up to being the Lead Happieness and Wellbeing Ambassador across the group.
She came runner-up in the Leadership category, where judges applauded her for being ‘a role model who is dedicated to excellence in the activity provision’.
Naomi said: “I have found my calling and absolutely love my role, being able to support the wellbeing teams across the company and, in turn, the individuals living in the homes. I am always looking for new opportunities and innovations, as well as ways to work collaboratively to improve the lives of all residents and give them a reason to smile every day.”
The awards ceremony was held in Liverpool’s Liner Hotel on Friday, 23rd January.
Following her success, Naomi was lauded by colleagues for being the driving force behind Advinia Healthcare’s Be Happie ethos, which has shaped the wellbeing and activity initiatives across all their homes.
Head of Sales and Marketing, Paul Lawson, said: “We are incredibly proud of Naomi for her success tonight. She has done incredible work, and it’s wonderful to see her efforts recognised.
“She’s passionate about promoting holistic wellbeing, and in her leadership role, she’s guiding our teams to make a huge difference in the lives of the residents in our homes.”
