Longwood Care Home Celebrates an Incredible 156 Years of Dedicated Service

Longwood Care Home is celebrating the remarkable commitment and loyalty of ten dedicated colleagues who have collectively achieved an outstanding 156 years of service.
The long service awards recognise team members whose passion, professionalism, and dedication have made a lasting difference to residents, families, and colleagues over many years. Their continued commitment reflects the caring values that sit at the heart of Longwood Care Home.
Among those recognised were Janice, who celebrated an incredible 29 years of service, Julie with 25 years, and Majeeda, who reached the impressive milestone of 20 years.
The celebrations also recognised Maddy and Shonia, who each marked 15 years with the home, while Amanda and Cilla celebrated 11 years of service. Completing the list of award recipients were Chris, Jane, and Amy, each recognised for reaching 10 years of dedicated service.
Together, the team has contributed an extraordinary 156 years of experience, compassion, and commitment to supporting residents every single day.
The award presentation was an opportunity to thank each colleague for their unwavering dedication and to recognise the positive impact they continue to have on the lives of those who live and work at Longwood Care Home.
