Marlborough House Opens Its Doors: A New Era of Dementia Care at Parklands Court Care Home

Parklands Court Care Home proudly unveiled its new residential dementia care facility in a heartwarming ceremony attended by residents, relatives, and esteemed guests. The Mayor of Walsall was present to officially open the new house, cutting the ribbon and sharing his appreciation for the vital work done by the care team.

The event was a celebration of community and care, featuring live entertainment by guest singer Barry Styles, who had everyone singing along to familiar tunes. The Mayor himself joined in the fun, delighting residents and staff alike with his warm and engaging presence. He also took the time to shake hands with staff and residents, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the compassionate work being done at Parklands Court.

Special thanks were extended to Riley and Rory, who played a significant role in crafting the house’s welcoming interior design.

The day also acknowledged the efforts of staff members Ryan, Paddy, and Jayne, whose hard work ensured the successful launch of Marlborough House. Advinia’s Commercial Director, Steven Dampier, shared in the celebration, engaging with guests and ensuring everyone felt part of the momentous occasion.

Residents and their families visited throughout the morning, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and expressing their excitement about the new facility.
