Maycroft Care Home Celebrates Brenda’s 90th Birthday

Brenda turned 90 today, and what a celebration it was! Surrounded by her loving family and friends, the day was filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of fun.

The festivities kicked off with a relaxing hair session for the birthday girl, who wore her delightful banner so everyone could easily spot her. Brenda looked radiant as she enjoyed her special moment.

The entertainment was provided by performer Mikey Fordola, whose superb vocals brought all the old dance hall classics to life. Residents and family alike joined in with singing, chair dancing, and even some energetic steps and spins on the dance floor!

After working up quite the appetite, Brenda’s family treated everyone to a delicious fish and chips lunch, perfectly accompanied by a glass of wine. It was the perfect meal to complement such a special occasion.

Of course, no birthday celebration would be complete without cake! A handmade birthday cake, adorned with sparkling candles, was brought out for Brenda. With a smile, she managed to blow them all out—teeth intact, of course!

As the day came to a close, everyone was happily exhausted and ready for a good night’s rest after such a wonderful celebration.
