Maycroft Care Home Celebrates ‘Good’ CQC Rating Across All Areas

Maycroft Care Home is celebrating a fantastic achievement after receiving a ‘Good’ rating in all areas following its latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The inspection was a positive and engaging experience for residents, who were actively involved throughout the day. Many residents enjoyed speaking with the inspector, who took time to listen attentively and learn more about life at the home. Residents spoke warmly about their experiences, sharing personal stories and expressing how happy they feel in their home.

When the results were announced, there was a real sense of excitement and pride across the home. Residents gathered together to celebrate the achievement and were delighted to take part in unveiling a brand-new banner, which will now be proudly displayed outside Maycroft.

Adding to the celebrations, the success was also featured in the local newspaper, with some residents even appearing in photographs as part of the story. Since then, there has been a wonderful buzz throughout the home, with residents enthusiastically sharing the news with visitors and proudly telling everyone that they are now “famous.”

This achievement reflects the dedication, compassion, and hard work of the entire team, as well as the strong sense of community within the home.

Maycroft Care Home continues to provide a warm, supportive environment where residents feel valued, listened to, and truly at home — and this latest CQC rating is a testament to that commitment.
