Norwood Care Home Staff Rally to Give Resident Special Send-Off

A Barrhead woman who died without family got a special send-off when her care home joined forces with the local undertaker to ensure she was laid to rest properly.

The staff contributed their own money to buy the flowers for Janet’s funeral, a testament to the impact that she made on them during her time at the Advinia Healthcare home.

Sue added: “We all thought a lot of Janet, and she deserved to have a send-off that showed how much she meant to us.

“It gave us great comfort to make the gestures that we know she would have loved, and we are so thankful to Andrew and the team at D Moodie & Co. for helping us to do right by Janet.”
