Parklands Court Care Home Expands with New Marlborough House Residential Facility

Parklands Court Care Home is set to expand its services with the opening of Marlborough House, a new residential facility dedicated to providing compassionate care for those needing extra support. Named after a local Bloxwich street, Marlborough House joins Collins House and Samuel House as part of Parklands Court’s mission to create a comfortable, community-centered environment where local residents can stay close to the area they call home.
Marlborough House will initially accommodate 11 residents, with 12 additional rooms planned in the coming months, bringing Parklands Court’s capacity to 81 beds. The new unit was developed in response to strong demand from local residents who wish to remain in the area they know well, surrounded by family, friends, and the comforts of Bloxwich.
“We’re thrilled to open Marlborough House to the community and provide a place where residents can form lasting friendships and share in meaningful experiences,” said the Care Home Manager. “Many of our team members are long-serving locals with over 20 years of dedicated service, reflecting the strong bonds we have with Bloxwich and its people.”
Marlborough House offers ensuite and patio-doored rooms, allowing residents easy access to the home’s beautifully maintained gardens. Additionally, the unit features a large dining area, a conservatory, and a cozy lounge for family gatherings. A dedicated catering team will serve hearty meals with personalised menu options, while a full calendar of daily activities—from arts and crafts to outings at local garden centres—will keep residents engaged and connected.
In addition to expanding care options, the opening of Marlborough House brings 12 new job opportunities, strengthening Parklands Court’s community ties and offering local employment.
A launch event is planned, with invitations extended to the Bloxwich community and local businesses. Parklands Court looks forward to welcoming new residents and celebrating this exciting addition to their long-standing care services in Bloxwich.
