Parklands Court Care Home Stands Up To Cancer

On Friday 12th September, the team at Parklands Court Care Home came together in solidarity by wearing orange to support Stand Up To Cancer.

The day was about more than raising awareness — it was a chance for colleagues to unite behind a cause that touches the lives of so many. True to the B Happie spirit, the event highlighted how Parklands is not only dedicated to resident wellbeing but also committed to supporting the wider community and important national campaigns.

Odette, Clinical Deputy, shared: “Here at Parklands, we not only promote the wellbeing and care for our residents, but we like to come together as a team to show support for something so important in people’s lives.”

Dave, from the Maintenance Team, added: “How could we not support Stand Up To Cancer when it is such a big illness in so many people’s lives? Here at Parklands, we support you all!”

The day was a proud reminder of the compassion and unity within the Parklands Court team. By standing up together, colleagues showed their commitment to making a difference — both inside the home and beyond.
