Residents of Annan Court Care Home Enjoy a Festive Outing to Hetland Hall Garden Centre

Residents from Annan Court Care Home recently enjoyed a delightful outing to Hetland Hall Garden Centre, embracing the festive season with a heartwarming trip filled with laughter, nostalgia, and seasonal treats.
Excitement filled the air as residents boarded the minibus, eager for a change of scenery and a leisurely drive through the local countryside. Upon arrival, a warm welcome awaited them in the tearoom, where a reserved table provided the perfect setting for a cosy gathering. Residents relished cups of tea and coffee, accompanied by delicious cakes and freshly baked scones, creating a comforting and social atmosphere.
After their refreshments, residents took a leisurely stroll around the garden centre, admiring the stunning Christmas decorations on display. The beautifully arranged festive ornaments and twinkling lights sparked conversations and memories of past holiday seasons. One resident fondly shared that she used to visit the garden centre every year at Christmas just to see the decorations, while another expressed how lovely it was to enjoy a day out and experience something different.
A highlight of the trip was the opportunity to pose for photos with the life-sized polar bear display, a moment that brought plenty of smiles and laughter. Many residents commented on the stunning festive displays, with one saying, “It looks absolutely beautiful!”
