Ryland View Care Home Launches B Happie Café to Bring Community Together

Ryland View Care Home is delighted to announce the launch of its brand-new B Happie Café, creating a welcoming space where residents, families, and the local community can come together to relax, connect, and enjoy meaningful moments.
Held every Thursday from 2–4pm on Bloomfield, the café has already proven to be a great success, with smiles, warm drinks, and open conversations filling the room. Residents and their loved ones have been enjoying quality time together over tea, cake, and plenty of laughter.
The café offers something truly special — a familiar, comforting environment where residents can socialise while remaining within the home. One resident shared how “lovely it is to have somewhere to go and still be on site,” highlighting the importance of creating spaces that feel both safe and engaging.
The community has warmly embraced the initiative, with fantastic turnouts each week. Guests have enjoyed everything from relaxed coffee afternoons and friendly chats to sing-alongs featuring favourites such as Engelbert Humperdinck and ABBA, bringing back fond memories and creating a joyful atmosphere.
On sunnier days, the café has even extended outdoors, with residents and families enjoying tea and cake in the home’s beautiful garden, making the most of the fresh air and relaxed al fresco setting.
