Ryland View Summer Fete 2024: A Day of Fun, Music, and Generosity

Ryland View transformed into a vibrant hub of activity and community spirit as residents, staff, families, and guests came together to celebrate the annual Summer Fete. The event was a massive success, with attendees enjoying a day filled with music, shopping, and camaraderie.

Stalls lined the outdoor area, offering a variety of items for sale, from handmade crafts to delicious treats. Adding to the festive atmosphere, an Elvis impersonator roamed the site, serenading guests with classic hits and bringing a nostalgic charm to the event.

The Ryland View community was overwhelmed with gratitude for the tremendous support and participation. “We can’t thank people enough who visited, bought items, and everyone who helped out and kindly donated,” said Sarah the Activities Co-ordinator.

A special shout-out goes to the trio of dedicated staff members who were instrumental in making the day a resounding success. Sarah, the Activities Coordinator; Jess, the Administrator; and Becky, the Head Chef, poured their hearts and souls into organizing the event. From setting up raffles to coordinating food and entertainment, their hard work and commitment were key to the fete’s triumph. Without these three, it would not have been as good as it was. Please join us in appreciating all of their hard work – thank you, ladies!

The success of the Summer Fete was not just in the joyous atmosphere but also in the generosity it inspired. Thanks to the support and kind donations from the community, Ryland View raised an impressive £331.20 for the resident’s fund. This significant contribution will go a long way in enhancing the lives of the residents.
