Summer Fun Brings Residents, Families and Friends Together at The Priory

10 September 2026

Residents, families and friends came together for an afternoon of music, games and plenty of smiles at The Priory Care Home’s summer fete.

The home welcomed visitors for a fun-filled celebration, with live entertainment from performers Debbie and Joy proving a particular highlight. The duo soon had everyone singing along, with some residents and guests even taking to the floor for a dance.

Families and friends joined residents throughout the day, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere across the home.

There was something for all ages to enjoy, including a bouncy castle for younger visitors, as well as hook-a-duck, darts, a tombola and raffle.

The event was a big hit with residents, with one describing it as “the best fete I have seen yet here at The Priory.”

The positive atmosphere was also praised by visiting families, with one family member describing the day as “a fun and friendly atmosphere to be in.”

The summer fete was a wonderful opportunity to bring residents, loved ones and the wider Priory community together, creating special memories and plenty of moments of happiness.

A huge thank you to Debbie and Joy for the fantastic entertainment, and to everyone who helped organise the day and joined us in making The Priory’s summer fete such a success.
