3 February 2026

Tollcross activity coordinators Kirstin Miller and Isabel Cummings, who work at Haydale Care Home on Corbett Street, received the Digital Engagement Award at the 2026 National Activity Awards.

Judges from the National Activity Providers Association praised the pair for their creative use of technology, digital tools and social media to boost resident engagement, build community connections and broaden the range of activities on offer.

The ceremony, held at the Liverpool Liner Hotel on Friday, January 23, saw the team join colleagues from Advinia Healthcare to celebrate the win.

Paul Lawson, head of sales and marketing at Advinia, said: “It was fantastic to see Kirstin and Isabel on stage being recognised for their fantastic work at Haydale Care Home.

“They’ve gone all out to embrace technology and create fantastic digital engagement that brings happiness to the residents and their loved ones.

“Everyone at Advinia Healthcare is thrilled for them and so proud of what they’ve accomplished.”

Following the win, the care home’s Facebook page was filled with messages of support from wellwishers, including from relatives of residents.

One comment read: “This is amazing.

“Well done, ladies, you so deserve this for the wonderful job you do for all our loved ones at Haydale.”
