Hammerwich Hall Care Home is delighted to welcome Jake Walker and Dan Aldridge to our catering team, bringing with them a wealth of experience, passion, and enthusiasm for delivering great food and service to our residents.
Jake Walker joins Hammerwich Hall as Head Chef, with a strong background working across hotels, restaurants, and cafés in the local area. Jake is excited to begin his new role with Advinia Healthcare and is looking forward to getting to know residents, families, and colleagues. Outside of work, Jake enjoys cooking at home, heading out on adventures with his dog Louis, and helping his partner care for her horses.
Joining him is Dan Aldridge, who takes on the role of Chef. Dan brings a wide range of experience from country pubs, gastro pubs, health clubs, and contract catering. He has a real passion for fresh food and maintaining an active lifestyle. In his spare time, Dan enjoys running, going to the gym, and hiking outdoors, making the most of being out in nature.
Both Jake and Dan have already spent time meeting residents and settling into the home, and they are busy preparing for their new roles. They share a strong commitment to delivering high-quality meals and excellent service, and are excited to get to know residents’ families. They have also begun planning some lovely events and dining experiences for the home.
