Woodfield Grange Care Worker Raises £420 for Overgate Hospice in Mum’s Memory

A dedicated member of the Woodfield Grange Care Home team has raised £420 for Overgate Hospice in loving memory of her mum.
The heartfelt fundraising effort was inspired by the care and support the hospice provides to people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families across Calderdale.
The donation was presented to Overgate Hospice on 25th August, marking a meaningful tribute to a much-loved mother while supporting an organisation that holds a special place in the family’s heart.
Colleagues at Woodfield Grange were proud to support the fundraiser, which demonstrated the kindness and community spirit at the heart of the home.
A spokesperson for Woodfield Grange said: “We are incredibly proud of our colleague for turning such a personal loss into something positive. Raising £420 for Overgate Hospice is a wonderful achievement and a beautiful way to honour her mum’s memory.”
The funds will help Overgate Hospice continue providing compassionate care and support to local patients and their loved ones when they need it most.
