Our vision
Our Vision is to create a better every day life for YOU
YOU – each Resident will be supported to continue to live the life you choose with meaning and purpose …enabled by empowered Colleagues, engaged with family & friends and connected to external partners like GPs
About us
Advinia Healthcare is a network of 36 care homes providing a full spectrum of person-centred care services.
Our senior management team has been involved in care since 1999 and works in partnership with Colleagues, Residents, family and other stakeholders like hospitals, community nurses and social workers. We know choosing a care home is a difficult decision, and we pride ourselves on providing homely surroundings, where we don’t stand on ceremony.
Individuality is at the heart of our care and we ensure personal choice and family wishes are respected. Our on-going training for Colleagues ensures a high standard of person-centred care for Residents.
We always strive to innovate and use technology to enhance our provision of person-centred care. Many of our Homes use Electronic Support Plans which provide instant and secure access to care details and provide a thorough overview of support and activities. Using technology increases efficiency and enables our Colleagues to spend more meaningful time with Residents and improving the quality of interactions and care and support provided.
We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Scottish Care Inspectorate. For the latest reports please refer to the individual Homes. We are also a proud member of NAPA – National Activity Providers Association.
Our mission
Our Mission is to be a respected care provider promoting a supportive culture of person-centred care.
Our values
The 6Cs are the Core Values for that underpin the vocation of everyone working in social care. They are included in the standards of the Care Certificate in England and widely recognised in Scotland.
They are an integral part of Advinia’s Induction Programme and form the foundation for other learning and how Colleagues engage with each other.

What makes Advinia different?
Our approach to care focuses on the individual needs of Residents, their goals and wishes, enabling them to live the life they choose. Our Homes are warm and friendly communities where Residents have opportunities for meaningful engagement and companionship, and we facilitate regular connections with loved ones and the community. Person-centred care means understanding that tiny details in people’s lives matter, so our Colleagues are specifically trained to notice the small things in daily life that might impact a Resident’s wellbeing. Whether that’s how a Resident likes to take their cup of tea, what radio station they like to listen to, or what time they like to go for their morning walk, we make sure their needs are met.
We see care as a collaborative effort between Residents, their loved ones and our team. Together we can ensure that all their wishes are respected, that Residents take an active role in decision-making around their care, and that their voice is heard.
