Residential Care

Our residential care is ideal for those looking for a little extra support with activities of daily living. Our compassionate and dedicated team are on hand 24-hours a day to provide as little or as much support as Residents would like, so that they can continue living life the way choose with meaning and purpose.

Residents can feel safe and relaxed within our warm and welcoming Homes knowing that the cooking, cleaning and all of the day-to-day concerns can be taken care of if that’s their preference. Leaving them free to enjoy their later years, socialise and make new friends, all within a comfortable and secure environment.

As soon as a Resident moves in to an Advinia Care Home we’ll talk through the different support options available and help them decide on their personalised support plan for their individual needs. Our person-centred approach to care means that we cater for likes and dislikes, dietary requirements and wellbeing needs so that Residents can continue to enjoy living their life, their way.

Nursing Care

Well-trained and compassionate nurses are present within our Homes offering 24-hour support for Residents whose medical needs increase or develop a health condition that requires extra care.

Our nurses maintain our person-centred approach and ensure that Resident needs are always put first regardless of the complexity of their care. Support is always tailored to individual wishes enabling Residents to enjoy all the additional lifestyle benefits of living in an Advinia Care Home wherever possible.

With our high standards of care, we’re able to reduce the need to go to hospital and we can provide continuity of living environment and daily routine, so Residents are able to continue to live as independently as possible. Some of our Homes are also suitable for recuperation after illness and hospitalisation. In addition, we’re able to reduce the length of hospital stays and support early discharges by acting as a step-down service with high-quality care within a safe but homely environment.

Dementia Care

We place the person and their individual needs at the heart of our approach to offering the very best dementia care for Residents. Our holistic support not only considers a Resident’s healthcare needs but all elements of wellbeing, including social, emotional, physical and spiritual. Our Colleagues are trained to prioritise Residents’ personal needs and preferences in all aspects of the care that they provide.

It can be distressing asking for support for a loved one living with dementia, particularly if needs have escalated over a short period. Our Care Colleagues will work closely with families to ensure a smooth transition moving into one of our Homes, offering reassurance during this difficult time. Our compassionate care and nursing Colleagues endeavour to provide high-quality person-centred care within safe and secure living environments, so that Residents can maintain as much independence as possible.

Respite and Short Stays

Our warm and welcoming Homes are the perfect environment for a period of respite or a short stay, to relax and unwind with peace of mind that care is available on-site 24-hours a day should it be needed.

Respite stays are popular with families who provide care for loved ones, but need additional support for a week or two whilst they travel or are experiencing a particularly busy time. Short stays are also a great way to get to know the community within a Home whilst you consider a more permanent arrangement with us.

During your stay all the fantastic benefits of living within an Advinia Care Home will be made available to you, including a personalised support plan that ensures your individual needs are met. You’ll be able to continue with hobbies and leisure pursuits, as well as enjoy our homemade delicious and nutritious meals from our in-Home chefs made with fresh ingredients each day.
