We care for Residents young and older, living with learning disabilities, as well as providing dementia care for people aged 65 and over. Our expert teams practise person-centred care, putting the holistic needs of each Resident at the heart of everything we do. We aim to help Residents live happy, independent lives with our full support and care.
Every one of our bedrooms comes with en-suite facilities, and most have views of our secluded gardens. Residents are encouraged to bring their decorative belongings and furniture with them to personalise their space. Our friendly community offers plentiful options to socialise and take part in all sorts of activities, and there are many peaceful, quiet spaces to relax in as well.
Each Resident has their own bedroom, which they can personalise with their favourite belongings and furniture. Our bright, spacious lounges are the perfect places for Residents to spend time together, enjoying activities or socialising.
Our Care Home in Glasgow even has an in-house pub, the ‘Haydale Arms’ for Residents to visit, as well as a salon where pamper sessions take place. Residents who enjoy gardening can get involved, we have a greenhouse, raised flower beds and plenty of plants to care for. There’s also plenty of seating outside for Residents to use as they sit and relax in the fresh air.
Commitment to Quality
We are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care in every one of our homes. To demonstrate this commitment, we share a range of independent and transparent quality measures, including regulatory inspections, internal reviews, benchmark scores, and real feedback from the people who matter most: residents and their families. These insights help us reflect on our progress, celebrate what’s working, and focus on where we can do even better.
Open Score
OpenScore is a third-party care quality benchmark developed by Autumna. It combines CQC ratings, family feedback, staff experience, and internal metrics to provide a broader view of performance. Haydale Nursing Home’s score is updated quarterly and offers a balanced perspective beyond regulatory ratings alone.
Latest Inspection Report
At all our care homes, we have aligned and agreed our strategic goals to define what we want our organisation to achieve and how we continuously improve the quality of care we provide.
The Care Inspectorate carried out an unannounced inspection of Haydale Nursing Home in October 2024. Inspectors confirmed that all previous requirements and areas for improvement had been met within agreed timescales.
Since this inspection, the home has continued to focus on maintaining safe, consistent care and supporting residents’ wellbeing. We encourage you to contact the home directly to learn more about current developments and improvements.

Duty of Candour Report
This report explains how Advinia meets its Duty of Candour responsibilities, ensuring openness and transparency when incidents occur and that residents and families are informed and supported. During the reporting period, 15 incidents across seven care homes required the Duty of Candour process, and lessons from these events are used to strengthen safety, training, and quality of care.

Person-centred care
By putting Residents at the heart of everything we do, our team can ensure that all their individual needs are met. Whether a Resident is living with complex needs, a learning disability, or requires additional care support, person-centred care is a suitable and successful approach.
We look at all aspects of Residents’ needs – including physical and emotional wellbeing, spiritual needs, nutritional requirements and any other important aspects of their overall health. By taking a holistic approach, we can help Residents live the life they wish to lead, empowered by our support and care. Their happiness and fulfilment are our priorities.
Living life to the full
Our Care Home in Glasgow is home to Residents of various ages and interests, so our activities programme reflects that diversity. Our enthusiastic Activities Team devise programmes that provide mental stimulation, increase mobility and provide opportunities to socialise.
Our older Residents enjoy karaoke, movie days, ball games, armchair exercises, gardening, arts and crafts, tea parties, reminiscence sessions and bingo, to name but a few. Younger Residents like socialising in the bar, playing games, visiting local swimming baths, taking trips into Glasgow and visits from a mobile petting zoo. We have lots of visitors from local community groups, entertainers, dance troupes and local school children. We’re lucky to be part of such a vibrant, friendly area.
Dining and nutrition
Good nutrition is vital for all Residents, no matter their age. So, our chefs prepare healthy, nutritious meals on-site every day. We strive to get a balance between Residents favourite meals and offering them new culinary experiences. Plus, the kitchen team likes to mark big events, seasonal occasions and personal celebrations with special meals.
When Residents arrive, we ask them to talk us through their favourite foods and meals, as well as any dietary requirements. We ask for regular feedback and suggestions for new dishes to include. Residents are also presented with a special homemade birthday cake as part of their celebrations.

We follow V for Life guidance to support healthy, balanced vegetarian and vegan nutrition for older people.
The B Happie Mission
Our mission to promote happy residents and happy staff is underlined by our groundbreaking ‘B Happie Charter’. We achieve these values by conducting person centred activities and events with a whole home approach, by recognising and appreciating the amazing work that our teams do and by prioritising mental health and wellness.
