Advinia Launches B Happie Cultural Connections in Support of NAPA’s Year of Culture

Advinia is proud to announce the launch of B Happie Cultural Connections, a new initiative introduced in alignment with NAPA’s Year of Culture.

B Happie Cultural Connections has been developed to recognise and celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our communities. As part of this initiative, every Advinia Home will be supported to host a cultural celebration day once a month, honouring the cultural identities, traditions and lived experiences of both Residents and Colleagues.

Culture is a fundamental part of personal identity and wellbeing. Through regular cultural celebration days, Homes will be encouraged to create meaningful opportunities for Residents and Colleagues to share traditions, stories, food, music and customs that are important to them. These celebrations will help strengthen relationships, promote inclusion and deepen understanding across our diverse communities.

The initiative reflects Advinia’s ongoing commitment to creating environments where everyone feels respected, valued and a true sense of belonging. It also supports person-centred care by recognising what matters most to the people who live and work in our Homes in line with the B Happie Initiative.

Further guidance and resources will be shared to support Homes in planning and delivering their monthly cultural celebration days.
