Valentine’s Day at Alma Barn Lodge care home was not just a celebration; it was a vibrant tapestry woven with threads of love, creativity, and heartfelt connections.
On the days leading up to Valentine’s Day, residents expressed their creative freedom by making hand-made cards for their loved ones. The activity that ignited their imagination and sparked joy. Engaging in the art of shaving foam painting, they revelled in the playful process of splattering vibrant paint colours onto a canvas of fluffy shaving foam, creating mesmerising patterns and textures.
As the cards took shape, so too did the bonds of friendship and affection that permeated the air, as residents exchanged laughter, encouragement, and words of endearment.
The culmination of their creative endeavours was met with a sense of pride and accomplishment, as residents marvelled at the beauty of their handiwork and eagerly awaited the moment to share their heartfelt creations with their loved ones.
Following the creative festivities, residents and their guests gathered for a sumptuous Valentine’s Day dinner, where the air was alive with the sounds of laughter, music, and heartfelt conversations. Residents, their partners, family members, and friends joined together for an evening of shared memories and joyful moments.
