Alma Barn Lodge Care Home Hosts Unforgettable Family Fun Day

Alma Barn Lodge Care Home welcomed the community with open arms on Saturday, June 1st, for a spectacular Family Fun Day. Running from 11:30am to 4:30pm, the event was packed with activities and entertainment for all ages, ensuring a day filled with laughter, joy, and memorable moments.

The day featured an incredible lineup of acts and performances, including a thrilling circus act with highwire thrills and dazzling fire-breathing performances. Attendees were mesmerised by the Animal Magic Show and delighted by the classic Punch & Judy show that brought a touch of nostalgia. The petting zoo, with its adorable animals, was a hit with both young and old, and everyone enjoyed meeting Alfie the Therapy Donkey.

Creativity was also in the spotlight, as the Ribbertyrabbit Crafting corner allowed participants to unleash their artistic talents, making unique pieces of artwork to take home as souvenirs. The crafting corner was a popular spot, with many attendees creating memorable pieces to commemorate the day.

The entertainment lineup was equally impressive. Guests grooved to lively tunes at the disco, enjoyed performances by local singers, and explored unique finds at various craft stalls. The music and dancing added to the festive atmosphere, filling the air with laughter and smiles.

The event was a resounding success. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as residents, families, friends, and staff enjoyed the array of activities and attractions. From the thrilling circus workshops and mesmerising highwire acts to the adorable petting zoo and creative craft stalls, there was truly something for everyone.
