Alma Barn Lodge, is thrilled to extend a warm invitation to all for a day of laughter, excitement, and connection at our upcoming Family Fun Day and Open House event.
Scheduled for the 1st of June from 11:30 am to 4:30 pm, this free of charge special event at Alma Barn Lodge promises to be a hub of vibrant activity and entertainment for families, friends and neighbours.. Nestled in the heart of the Didcot community, Alma Barn is eager to showcase the warmth and hospitality that defines our care home.

Ribberty Rabbit Crafting with Emma: Step into the world of creativity and imagination with Emma as she leads interactive art and craft sessions.

Katy Kartwheels Circus Sessions: Get ready to be amazed by Katy Kartwheels as she dazzles audiences with her circus skills. Featuring an aerial rig, tightrope wire, circus walkabout and a choreographed circus show, Katy’s energetic performances are guaranteed to leave you in awe.

James Rudge’s Merlins Animal Magic Show: Prepare to be enchanted by James Rudge and his mesmerising animal magic show, Punch & Judy puppet theatre and some creative balloon modelling.

Alfie The Therapy Horse & Petting Zoo: Meet Alfie the Therapy Horse and his furry companions in our outdoor petting zoo. Children and adults will have the opportunity to interact with these gentle creatures.

Donna’s Specialty Horsebox: Indulge your taste buds with a selection of specialty barista coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and milkshakes served from Donna’s charming horsebox. It’s the perfect way to refuel and recharge during a day of fun-filled activities.

Charmaine Bushnell: Talented local singer who will be performing a live set of old favourites and modern hits.

DrainGain Disco: Our DJ will be spinning some popular and catchy tunes and taking special requests on the day.
In addition to these exciting performances and attractions, guests will also have the opportunity to explore showrooms and discover the exceptional care and amenities offered at Alma Barn Lodge. Other craft vendors and food will also be available to purchase, including our home-style Barbecue.
