Arncliffe Court Celebrates 30th Anniversary In Style

There were joyous celebrations at Arncliffe Court this May when the Home celebrated its 30th anniversary with a massive party.

Local bands Annie’s Antidote and John Witherspoon Music performed fantastic live sets during a day packed with entertainment, games and delicious food.

Team Arncliffe extended party invites to Relatives and members of the local community, so everyone could gather to mark the milestone occasion.

Activities Co-ordinator Zoe Pinnington said it was an unforgettable day that everyone will cherish.

Zoe said: “It was a fantastic party, and everyone agreed it was the perfect way to mark our 30th anniversary.

“After all the lockdowns, it was terrific to bring Residents together with family, friends and our neighbours.

“We gave the day a funfair theme and had loads of games including splat the rat, knockdown tin can, hoopla and hook a duck.

“Children played on the bouncy castle we’d hired and enjoyed treats from our popcorn and candy floss cart.

“The Residents had an amazing day – they loved it!”

With the two Liverpool bands storming through sets including Beatles hits, rock anthems and classic favourites, the music was on point.

The team were also thankful that the weather was lovely so everyone could enjoy the fun outside.

Zoe added: “We felt very blessed that it was a dry and warm day, the perfect conditions to enjoy an alfresco party.

“Chef and the kitchen team did a brilliant job by cooking up hamburgers, hot dogs and keeping the refreshments coming all afternoon.

“The loveliest thing about the whole day was that we were able to really celebrate Arncliffe Court and the heart of this place.

“The Residents, their Relatives and our Colleagues all bring so much to the Home, and it’s a fantastic place to live and work.

“Here’s to the next 30 years – and all the happy times ahead!
