Ghoulish Halloween Party Bewitches Arncliffe Court Residents
4 November 2021

Residents at Arncliffe Court Care Home’s Woolton House enjoyed a spooky party to remember as they celebrated Halloween at the Home.
New Activities Co-ordinator Lauren Kelly wanted to make a splash for her first big event, so she went all out on the decorations that adorned the unit.
She and her Colleagues got together to lay on a magical buffet table complete with naughty treats, including sausage rolls, cakes and biscuits.
There were burgers, hotdogs and fries served up by the kitchen before non-alcoholic Nosecco was poured.
Each Resident was also given a special pumpkin mask to wear, explained Lauren.
Lauren said: “We wanted to get the Residents in the Halloween party spirit.
“All the staff dressed up as witches, wearing hats and capes.
“We played some Halloween music, including Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Monster Mash.
“Residents danced along to that and also their favourite hits from the 60s and 70s.”
There was plenty to enjoy as the festivities rolled on, and everyone at Woolton House agreed it was a triumph.
Lauren added: “I was nervous because it was my first party, and I wanted to get it right.
“So, it was fantastic to see everyone having fun together – the Residents loved it!”
