Arncliffe Court Hamsters Bring Joy To Residents
1 March 2021

Two adorable hamsters have been bringing therapeutic fun to Residents at Arncliffe Court this year.
The fluffy duo has been named Truffle and Potato after Residents voted in a poll to name their new companions.
Pet therapy is hugely beneficial for Residents, as they can see the hamsters play, stroke them and watch their mini adventures.
The Activities team regularly set up their enclosures and hamster ball in the communal lounge so Residents can see them playing.
Activities Co-ordinator Ilana Zsigmond said that spending time with Truffle and Potato is a great boost for Residents’ wellbeing.
Ilana said, “The hamsters bring the residents so much joy. They’ll sit for ages and watch them as they explore.
“Even the most sceptical of our residents can’t help but smile as they go running by!
