Craigbank Residents Celebrate Chinese New Year In Style

Resident Sunny Tsang ensured Craigbank had an authentic Chinese New Year celebration in 2021 by helping chefs devise a special menu.
Colleagues wanted Sunny, who used to run a Chinese restaurant years ago, to advise them on his favourite foods for the occasion.
Chef sat down with Sunny to find out what products they needed to create a delicious spread of vegetable spring rolls, noodles, chicken curry and pineapple fritters.
After getting a shopping list, the team headed to a local Chinese supermarket to pick up everything they needed.
Home Manager Kathleen Glasgow said all Residents enjoyed feasting on Sunny’s menu and celebrating the Year of the Ox.
Kathleen said: “We wanted to make sure Sunny had a wonderful celebration that he could share with his friends at Craigbank.
“By getting his advice on authentic ingredients, our chefs were able to cook up a delicious meal that everyone enjoyed.
“Sunny was delighted with the results and had a great day.”
