Christmas Carollers Bring Festive Joy To Arncliffe Court
16 December 2020
In December, Colleagues at Arncliffe Court were in fine voice as they performed a selection of much-loved carols for Residents.
The team dressed up in Christmas fancy dress and went round each unit, spreading cheer. Residents got to meet Santa, his reindeer and some angels during a fun-filled visit.
The team sang a selection of traditional carols and classic festive songs for their appreciative audience at each stop.
According to Activities Co-ordinator Daisy Little, it was the perfect start to Arncliffe Court’s in-house celebrations.
Daisy said: “The Residents loved seeing us all dressed up and ready to entertain them!
“We’re not a professional choir by any stretch, but we gave it our all, and many Residents joined in.
“It was really beneficial to the Residents living with dementia, as they can often recall tunes and lyrics.
“It was lovely to have a sing-song and get Christmas started in the Home.”
As the carollers toured each unit, there were refreshments and mince pies for Residents to enjoy.
Although it was a very different Christmas this year, Colleagues at Arncliffe Court made it special for Residents.
