Romance Is In The Air At Deanfield’s Valentine’s Celebration

Residents at Deanfield celebrated Valentine’s Day in style this year with a special lunch and dance.

Among those enjoying the celebrations were Deanfield’s resident couple John and Kathleen Neville.

While everyone else dined together, the Nevilles had a private meal for two and shared a bottle of wine.

After the meal, the group got together for a dance where they enjoyed love songs from the 50s.

Activities Co-ordinator Emily Campbell said a good time was had by all.

Emily said: “It was a special day full of fun and romance.

“It was nice to be able to treat the Nevilles to their private Valentine’s meal, they’ve clocked up 60 years of marriage.

“The dancing was a hit, and the Residents had a lovely time hearing all their favourite love songs.

“We made sure that everyone was well-fed and had lots of fun.”
