Easter Bunny Surprise Brings Joy and Laughter to Parklands Court
24 April 2025

It was a day full of laughter, surprises, and sweet treats at Parklands Court Care Home as staff hopped into Easter with a joyful twist! Dressed head-to-toe in fluffy bunny costumes, team members delivered chocolate eggs to residents, spreading smiles from room to room.

Activities Coordinator Allie was joined by her daughter Luna and kitchen staff Dave and Anita, all transformed into cheerful Easter bunnies. The team made their way around the home, delivering eggs and plenty of giggles along the way.

“The faces of the ladies and gents were priceless,” said Allie. “As soon as we walked in, they just burst out laughing!”

101-year-old Jocey was touched by the gesture, saying, “You’re worth your weight in gold. It’s amazing what you’ve done — and the outfits are super!”
Doreen was in stitches over Allie’s costume, laughing so hard she had tears in her eyes, while Julie beamed, “You’ve made my day!”

Even relatives passing by in the car park had to do a double take when they saw a giant pink bunny hopping past the windows.

From house to house, the bunny brigade brought a burst of fun and warmth that truly made the day unforgettable. “Our goal was to put big smiles on our residents’ faces,” said Allie, “and judging by the laughter, we definitely succeeded!”
