Easter Bunny Delivers Egg Treats To Residents At Elderslie

Easter Sunday was a day to remember for Residents at Elderslie Care Home when the Easter Bunny came calling.

Residents had been busy preparing for the bank holiday weekend celebrations with a series of crafting and baking activities.

Then on Sunday itself, the Easter Bunny arrived laden with delicious Easter eggs to hand out to everyone.

According to Activities Co-ordinator Jacqueline Minghella, the chocolate-fuelled celebrations were great fun for Residents and Colleagues alike.

Jacqueline said: “It was fantastic to see how excited the Residents were to have some Easter fun.

“We started getting prepared days before by making Easter cards, baking egg nests and painting decorations.

“The Residents love crafting and baking, so it was great to host these sessions and for everyone to get stuck in.

“The Easter Bunny did a great job and made everyone laugh. It was a sunny, funny bank holiday that the Residents really enjoyed.”
