Easter Cheer at Haydale Care Home as Easter Bunny and Chick Bring Joy to Residents

Haydale Care Home in Tollcross was buzzing with excitement as Karen and Alison from Tollcross Cooperative Funeralcare donned their festive attire, transforming into the Easter Bunny and an adorable Easter Chick to spread cheer among the residents.
With music filling the air and laughter echoing through the corridors, the dynamic duo made their rounds, bringing smiles to the faces of residents, especially those confined to bed rest. Their lively presence and infectious energy turned the home into a hub of Easter merriment.
As they danced and frolicked with residents, the Easter Bunny and Chick distributed Easter treats, adding an extra dose of sweetness to the day. Eadie Doyle, a resident, couldn’t contain her laughter, sharing, “I’ve never danced with the Easter Bunny before!”
Even Rose McLean joined in the fun, joking, “Run, rabbit, run!”
The visit from Karen and Alison marks another chapter in the growing community links between Haydale Care Home and Co-op. Over the years, residents have eagerly anticipated themed visits from their friends at Co-op, and this Easter celebration was no exception.
