With a total of three units hosting spectacular Christmas parties, residents and their families were treated to an unforgettable celebration filled with music, laughter, and heartfelt moments.

The merry festivities commenced with Wharfedale House’s Christmas party on December 1st, setting the tone for the season. The venue echoed with the sounds of Fabulous Ukulele Henry, who charmed the audience throughout the evening. Residents, their families, and staff gathered for an evening of singing, laughter, and festive fun. The atmosphere was lifted by the festive attire of staff, with Christmas jumpers and even some delightful fancy dress, adding an extra layer of joy to the occasion. The buffet was a hit, and the drinks flowed as everyone reveled in the holiday spirit.

Wensleydale House continued the celebration on December 8th, welcoming residents and their families to join in the festive revelry. The lively party featured dancing, tambourine-playing, and an enthusiastic crowd participating in the merriment. Entertainer Henry had everyone on their feet, dancing and singing along. Special moments included a heartwarming rendition of “White Christmas” by resident Alan, showcasing the inclusive and joyous spirit of the evening.

The grand finale took place at Calderdale House’s Christmas Party on December 12th. Once again, families flocked to join the festivities, creating an atmosphere of warmth and togetherness. The night was filled with singing, dancing, and laughter, with staff joining in the festivities alongside the residents. A highlight of the evening was when gentleman Donald surprised everyone by taking to the dance floor, leaving his wife pleasantly astonished. The celebration reached a crescendo with a solo performance by Darren, the head housekeeper, who presented an original Christmas song titled “Here Comes Christmas.”
