Wickedly Fun Times At Goldielea Halloween Party
9 November 2022

It was party time at Goldielea this Halloween as guests congregated for an afternoon of spooky fun.
Ahead of the ghoulish celebrations, Residents took part in a Halloween craft session to design scary masks for the event.
When families arrived to join the fun, a ‘Best Dressed’ prize was awarded to Resident Margaret’s great-granddaughter, who’d come dressed as a friendly witch.
Before long, it was time to get stuck into some wickedly fun games, including ‘pin the nose on the pumpkin’ and smashing the spooky piñata.
Refreshments included a fabulous finger buffet packed full of savoury treats and naughty cakes.
Goldielea Activities Coordinator Judith Champion said everyone had a great time.
Judith said: “Halloween is so much fun – the Residents loved all the spooky antics.
“Congratulations to Irene for winning ‘pin the nose on the pumpkin’, and to Margaret’s great-granddaughter for being crowned ‘Best Dressed’ and smashing the piñata.
“We had a lovely sing-a-long as well, which everyone said was a real highlight of the afternoon.
“It’s so fantastic to welcome the Residents’ families to join us for special events like Halloween and to make great memories together.”
