Golfhill Care Home Hosts Inaugural ‘Gentlemen’s Club’

On Monday, May 13th, Golfhill Care Home kicked off their inaugural ‘Gentlemen’s Club’ event under the warm Scottish sun. With the garden as their backdrop, residents and staff gathered for a laid-back afternoon.

The highlight? A classic barbecue. Burgers, pizzas, and cold beer were on the menu, courtesy of our talented Head Chef and Wellbeing Coordinator. As the scent of grilled goodness filled the air, everyone dug in, enjoying the simple pleasures of good food and good company.

But, as is typical of Scottish weather, the skies soon turned gray, and raindrops began to fall. In a flurry of activity, they all dashed indoors to seek shelter. However, the sudden change in weather didn’t dampen their spirits.

Safe and sound inside, the Gentlemen made the most of the situation by choosing to watch ‘The Highlander’. Snuggled up indoors, they continued to enjoy each other’s company, laughter, and the timeless tale on screen.

Despite the unexpected turn of events, the afternoon was filled with happiness, joy, and a lot of memories shared. Here’s to more memorable ‘Gentlemen’s Club’ gatherings in the future!
