Joy For Golfhill Residents As Primrose City Nursery Perform Carol Service

The wonderful children from Primrose City Nursery brought Christmas cheer to the Residents at Golfhill with an extra special carol concert.

Volunteers from East End Empowering Stars helped organise the visit on Wednesday 8th December at the Glasgow Care Home.

Residents were overjoyed to be able to welcome the children, who warmed their hearts by singing their favourite carols.

As well as the singing, there was dancing too – and Santa even dropped off some chocolate for the group to enjoy.

According to Activities Co-ordinator Collette, it was the best gift the children could give the Residents.

Collette said: “We were thrilled to be able to welcome the children from Primrose City Nursery in for a visit.

“The kids were absolute superstars, and their terrific show was enjoyed by all.

“We’re so thankful that East End Empowering Stars could make this happen because it meant the world to our Residents.

“What a wonderful way to get Christmas off to a fantastic start.”

The children joined Residents in the lounge, where they sang, danced and chatted.

After the carols, everyone was excited to hear that Santa had dropped off some very special chocolate treats to say a big thank you.

Collette added: “It’s good to know that Santa has already got the Primrose City Nursery children on his list.

“They’ve obviously been very good this year as he’s already made one stop for them already!”
