Hillview celebrates a true Hero of Happieness

Hillview is proud to announce that Zena, Wellbeing Coordinator, has been awarded the highly respected Heroes of Happieness Award, recognising her extraordinary commitment and the transformative impact she has had on the lives of Residents and the wider Hillview community.
Since joining Hillview, Zena has brought energy, creativity, and a deep passion for enriching daily life within the home. Her dedication has helped strengthen community connections, inspire joyful activities, and cultivate a warm, vibrant atmosphere for Residents and Colleagues alike.
Moira, Home Manager at Hillview, shared her delight and pride in Zena’s achievement:
“We made a huge fuss, we danced, clapped and hugged.
Zena started in Hill View in August 2025. The difference she has made in the home is incredible through persistent hard work. She has built relationships in the community – schools, nurseries, ministers, priests, musicians – the home is often a hive of activity.
Facebook is never quiet with photos of happy faces or faces filled with concentration while playing dominoes, painting or solving puzzles.
Zena more than deserves to be a Hero of Happieness and was delighted with her certificate, gift and flowers. Zena’s colleagues hugged her and shook her hand in congratulation. A lovely day. Thank you very much for all your hard work Zena.”
