Maycroft Spa Days Are A Big Hit With Residents

Dedicated pamper days where Residents can enjoy a host of spa treatments have become wildly popular during the lockdown.

Each week, the care team run ‘Maycroft Spa Days’ offering treatments including facials, massages, hot shaves, pedicures, manicures and other beauty treatments.

Residents can relax and sit back as their pamper team get to work, and enjoy listening to soothing classical music.

With both a professional hairdresser and beautician on staff, these DIY days are as good as those run at established salons.

Home Manager Lynn Ward said Residents eagerly anticipate the sessions each week.

Lynn said: “It’s a real treat that we can deliver in the Home, and we share videos of the Residents having a lovely time, so their families can see them smiling.

“For our care team, it’s a great chance to have one-on-one quality time with Residents as we do the therapeutic treatments and have a good chat.

“It’s great to hear how much Residents enjoy them.”
