Bolton Solicitors Firm Makes Generous Garden Donation to Mill View

23 April 2021

Mill View Residents and their loved ones will be able to meet outside in style this summer thanks to a fantastic donation from Bolton solicitors firm Fieldings Porter.

The generous company have presented Residents with a stunning set of garden furniture to make outdoor meetups comfortable and stylish.

Fieldings Porter is celebrating its 150th birthday this year and has challenged themselves to complete 150 charitable or community gestures in 2021.

According to solicitor Lucy Dunning, Mill View Care Home was a particularly special beneficiary.

Lucy said: “We’ve acted for Mill View Residents before, so we knew that this would be a gift that would get plenty of good use.

“They’ve been through a lot due to the pandemic, so now families can visit again, we thought it would be lovely to have some new furniture to relax on.

“We delivered the furniture as part of our ‘Random Acts Of Kindness’ day, and we got a lovely reception from the team at Mill View.

“It feels special to give them something that’s genuinely useful.”

Team Fieldings Porter arrived with their mascot Matthew the panda in tow. They got a warm welcome from Mill View and Home Manager Jane Sefton.

Jane said: “We were bowled over by this wonderful gesture from our friends at Fieldings Porter.

“Residents love spending time in our garden, and it means the world to us that they now have some fantastic furniture to use.

“We’d like to wish Fieldings Porter a very happy 150th birthday and commend them for celebrating in such a generous way.”
