Mother’s Day Treats Warm Hearts At Hill View
23 March 2021

There was plenty of love and laughter at Hill View this Mother’s Day, as the Residents were spoilt by their nearest and dearest.
Although the Home was in lockdown, loved ones sent gifts, flowers and cards to their Mums.
Hill View Colleagues made sure that the mums received their special treats and were able to speak to their loved ones as well.
There were also a series of COVID-Secure visits in each unit’s visiting rooms, where Residents were able to spend quality time with a family member.
Activities Co-ordinator Linda Anderson said it was heart-warming to see how much love there is between the Resident mothers and their children.
Linda said: “Mother’s Day is so special to many of our Residents, and they really loved receiving their gifts, flowers and cards.
“The family visits were emotional and lovely, and we know how hard it’s been for relatives to be separated from Residents throughout the pandemic.
“Having joyous, happy days like this lift everyone’s spirits, and we know how much Residents appreciate it.”
