Parklands Court Staff Bring The House Down With Panto Fun
4 January 2021

The Residents of Parklands Court got to enjoy a traditional festive panto despite the lockdown – when Colleagues staged their very own show.
The team got out their fancy dress box to create costumes for an in-house adaptation of Cinderella.
As well as performing a joke-laden panto, the staff ended each performance with a sing-a-long for Residents.
According to Senior Activities Co-ordinator Patricia Pruden, the show was a hit with every unit at the Home.
Patricia said: “The Residents love panto, so we decided to bring a special show to them.
“We got Colleagues on each unit here involved, so when we performed the panto each time, the cast was made up of the people who work there.
“There were a few performances before Christmas and some in January as we worked our way around Parklands Court. Every time we put on a show, there were loads of laughs and smiles.
“It was a wonderful experience – and we’d like to thank everyone who took part for being such good sports.”
