Pub Club Sundays at Arncliffe

Pub-loving Residents at Arncliffe Court can enjoy a tipple in their local every Sunday – thanks to a new pub club.

Although Britain’s pubs are closed down due to coronavirus restrictions, Arncliffe Court’s on-site watering hole has remained open to Residents.

The Horse & Jockey is situated in the Home’s Woolton House unit, and every Sunday, they host a pub club for keen punters.

Residents can enjoy having a few drinks, playing a game of darts or watching football before tucking into a traditional Sunday roast.

Activity Co-ordinator Daisy Little said that the team make sure to decorate the Horse & Jockey for holidays and derbies to capture the full pub experience.

Daisy said: “Pub club is very popular and Residents really appreciate being able to spend relaxing Sundays in the Horse & Jockey.

“It’s important for us to keep up the traditions and weekly rituals that Residents enjoy. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Liverpool FC fan or an Everton supporter – we make sure both team’s colours are on display.”
