Roseacres Residents Celebrate Summer At Seaside-themed Garden Party

Colleagues at Roseacres threw a seaside-themed summer party for Residents this September, complete with their very own beach.

The team converted the garden into a traditional seaside experience with a sandy beach, faux ‘sea’ and ice-creams.

The weather was fair as Residents gathered in the garden to enjoy the festivities, which included live entertainment.

Residents enjoyed a sing-a-long and a dance as singer Ian performed classic songs as part of an uplifting set.

Later, fish and chips were served in traditional newspaper cones to bring the traditional seaside experience to a close.

Home Manager Howell Lasco said it was a wonderful afternoon for all.

Howell said: “It was a very happy and uplifting afternoon, and it was great to see the Residents having so much fun.

“We were lucky to have an ice-cream cart to serve sweet treats in the afternoon and to enjoy some fantastic entertainment.

“The weather stayed dry, and Residents even got to enjoy building sandcastles on our ‘beach’.”

“Residents have been talking about the party to their families and telling them how much they enjoyed it.”
