Ryland View Care Home Welcomes the Community for Care Home Open Week

Ryland View Care Home threw open its doors this week as part of Care Home Open Week, inviting the local community to come and see what life is really like inside our warm and welcoming home.
On Tuesday 17th June, the sunshine was in full swing as we enjoyed an uplifting afternoon of live music with Barry Styles, who had everyone singing, clapping, and dancing along in the garden. Residents, staff, families, and friends came together for a joyful celebration of connection and community spirit.
It was also a particularly special day for resident Bob, who celebrated his birthday—complete with a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday and lots of smiles all around.
The atmosphere was truly heartwarming. Sheila’s daughter shared, “What a lovely afternoon,” while George, one of our residents, said, “I have really enjoyed this afternoon—it was so nice to be outside.” Barry Styles himself added, “How lovely to be outside singing for the residents—it was so nice to see them all smiling.”
